My baby makes my heart swell with pride. I can’t help it. He’s… so… precious! My in-laws and my family get pictures weekly from me because I know they want them and I can hardly help myself.

I’ve never enjoyed anything more than being a mom. We’ve been so fulfilled as parents with this baby, who I’ve nicknamed sugar bear, that we questioned whether we’d throw in more challenges with baby #2.

Both of us had no clue how challenging those newborn days really would be. And wow, trying to breastfeed and keep a house clean and our bodies fed was insane. I was really afraid of going through it again! The hubby said we got it right the first time, let’s just have the one.

Funny how you forget the pains of pregnancy and childbirth.

If I weren’t “of advanced maternal age,” I could have ten of these.

Being  a mom really is the best thing I’ve ever done. I love being home. I enjoy serving my family. Thank you, God. May I have another?
